Candice Fu is an 18-year-old young adult from Queens whose family originates from China. She’s currently in her second year of college and is majoring in graphic design. From an early age, she was able to use the art around her as reference to fuel her own artistic creativity and has made something unique and something that truly is her own.
Although she experiences artist’s blocks, she always seems to be drawn back to making art with bursts of creativity. Candice is currently writing about systemic racism and is thinking of also implementing multiple illustrations in her article to express herself about how it makes her feel. —By Knaux
