Matthew Salazar is a recent Hunter Graduate living in New York City. He is a first generation Dominican American who is interested in different forms of media, especially painting, and digital art. He enjoys discovering new ways of expression as a means to create and gain experience in creating art.
While he graduated with a degree in Media Studies, he hopes that he can become a teacher in order to better serve his community as an inner-city youth. He has worked in various programs involving youth however, it was his work with the Uptown Hub that had inspired him to go down this path.
