Sexual Violence in Current Generations

Sexual violence in our current generations has become too familiar. According to RAINN, an anti-sexual violence organization, someone gets sexually assaulted every 73 seconds. It is not okay that “there are 433,648 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States.” It is also highlighted that people ages 18-34 are 54 percent more likely to be sexually assaulted than any other age group.
